CUBIT presenting UMI-Sci-Ed project at ALL DIGITAL Summit in Bologna
On 10-11 October Cubit is attending the XXII ALL DIGITAL Summit in Bologna, together with over 150 organisations and networks, working in the field of digital inclusion and empowerment. The event is organised by Cubit partner ALL DIGITAL, a pan-European network aimed at enhancing digital skills across Europe.
ALL DIGITAL Summit 2019 will delve into two crucially important themes for the participants: Basic digital skills and STEAM skills. The Summit offers a variety of workshops, discussion groups, plenary sessions around these topics, and will highlight some relevant projects which have made significant steps forward in enhancing STEAM skills. Among them, ALL DIGITAL has picked up the experience of the UMI-Sci-Ed project, in which Cubit is partner.
Learn more about UMI-Sci-Ed Project:
UMI-Sci-Ed (Exploiting Ubiquitous Computing, Mobile Computing and the Internet of Things to promote Science Education) is a Horizon 2020 project, aimed at enhancing the attractiveness of science education and careers for young people (14-16 year-olds) via the use of latest technologies. We put Ubiquitous and Mobile Computing and the Internet of Things (UMI) into practice to improve the level of STEM education. At the same time, we are increasing the attractiveness of pursuing a career in domains pervaded by UMI for these youths.
